Layering Staple: Oversized Scarf

This time of year, the weather tends to have many mood swings.  Sometimes, dressing accordingly can be quite difficult, no matter how "accurate" the weather on your smartphone is.  When it comes to layering,  I personally prefer to layer lightweight pieces that I can easily put on or take off if need be.  Example A; the scarf.  A long and wide, lightweight scarf with warmer fibers is a fall staple.  You can wear it solely as an accessory to your outfit during the day while the sun is still peaking out and then shimmy it down and wear it as a shawl/wrap-like piece, like I did here, as the evening moves on.  I have rallied up a few of my favorite scarfs this season below that way you can stay warm and still look effortlessly on trend this season.

Oh and also, don't forget I am hosting Madewell's 1 year anniversary party this Wednesday, November 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the Arden Fair Mall.  There will be great tunes, drinks and sweet treats! Hope to see you there! RSVP HERE
