Red. Yup, I am wearing red! Truth is, I found this dress at Crossroads at the beginning of winter and absolutely fell in love, which was weird because, well...it is red. I guess I had been wearing neutrals for so long that it just kind of spoke to me. Whatever it was that drew me to it, I guess it was kind of a blessing in disguise. I find that it can be so easy nowadays to pigeon-hole yourself into wearing specific colors based on your "blog aesthetic" (at least that is how I feel sometimes) as a blogger. So when the sun finally came out, I put on this dress and realized it was about damn time! Did I mention it is DVF as well. Oh AND I scored it for under $30!
If you read my last post, "The Spring Edit," you saw a similar outfit with the Topshop dress and Frame denim jacket. This look is so simple to emulate and it is a great way to incorporate the denim jacket & booties you lived in all winter into a chic spring outfit! I completed my look with these awesome Eyeconic glasses that have a vintage flare to them, plus I love the tortoise shell frames and monogrammed temple! Eyeconic has so many amazing sunnies to get you ready for spring, so check them out here. Also they have a virtual try-on which makes at-home fitting and deciding a breeze!
