Coffee Date

Can we all agree that there is no better way to start a week off than with a freshly brewed, hot cup of joe? Well colder weather has officially decided to touch down here in Sacramento and lucky for me, the plethora of local coffee shops is seriously within walking distance of my loft.

Working from home can become monotonous and lonely, so I've designed a Monday routine that is perfect for jumpstarting my week on a high note and that almost always involves a morning trip to one of my fav local spots. The Temple on K has amazing coffee and delicious sweet treats, plus it is seriously a blogger's dream for photographing. This white wall is lined with benches and oversized rocks, perfect for impromptu meetings or simply relaxing. Not pictured, the amazing floor made of pennies. Yes, pennies! And let me tell you, it definitely makes this beautiful space pop. Typically it is quite busy here so you won't usually find me here with my laptop in hand, but for me, the simple act of getting out of the house, bracing the cold air in a cozy sweater and drinking a warm cappuccino is just enough to get my week started on a high note!

I actually recently fell in love with a slouchy Zimmermann sweater and have been searching for something similar with the same effortlessly-cool attitude at a much more practical price point. My search ended when I scored this beauty from ShopLunaB and yeah, needless to say, I've kind of been wearing it daily. Guys, the oversized sleeves though, I can't resist!

Also can we take a moment of silence for these perfect, Olsen-twin-esque, sunnies courtesy of Eyeconic?! Eyeconic is actually a local company (which I didn't realize at first!) bringing the best of fashionable sunglasses and prescription glasses to both men and women. This pair by MCM is sure to become my new go-to and I can't wait to share with you all more about this awesome company soon to the blog. Check them out here.
