Fashion is all about recycled styles from the past becoming relevant again.  Which is why, by the grace of the fashion gods, the flare is back in style!  I had been seeing flares pop up on the runways a while back and had a feeling that they would become the biggest "new" item of the season.  I gotta say, it felt a little bit nostalgic wearing these micro-flares I swooped up from Crossroads for a whopping $7.  It took me back to a time when I was about 8 years old and all I wanted to wear was my light wash, suede lace up side, Mudd brand, bell bottoms (complete with crotchet, tasseled belt) from JcPenny's.  Those were the days when Britney Spears was the most important person in my life and all I needed were my hit-clips and my Limited Too catalog to get me through my days.  But enough reminiscing, I am truly a fan of the flare and I am stoked that they are on the popularity rise again.  I am keeping my eye out for a wide flare that will fit these sort stems of mine, but for now, these babies will get me through the start of the Fall season.
